Blog on demand!

Well Moody mouse has demanded Cabbage write a new installment to the blog. So, lets have a think....
Its a bit difficult to write about something that hasnt happened yet- as the plan was to write about what we do together- so will have to be a look back at something.
There are soo many precious moments we have shared, or I have seen you do, its difficult to pick one out at random. A few silly things that stick in my mind I will list below for you:
You wrapping yourself up in what appeared to be the majority of a Toilet Roll
The way you used to only be able to fall asleep with the silky bit of your blanket in your mouth to suck
Your little ironing board
The cute curls you had when you were little
When you drew all over the bedroom walls when we moved into Watermill Road- Uncle Scotts idea- let ou draw on the walls as we were going to decorate- except he let you use Wax Crayons which meant we couldnt just paint over the wallpaper we had to strip it all off!
You sat infront of all your Winnie the Poohs when you were a baby
The angel Baby grow for your first Christmas
Our first Caravan holiday with Nanny- when you went Swimming for the first time
When you wrote about Uncle Scott for school - as he was your idol
Your first ballet exam- soo sweet in the White leotard and skirt

So so many to mention. I will in all good time continue to add to the list, but for now sweetie mums logging off to clear up the mess downstairs!

Love ya

New Year New Start

Hey sweetie , or Moody mouse as you used to be known. Before you were born and the first year of your life I did write a diary for you, which I hope your dad has somewhere in the special treasures box, which also holds the first baby bib, knitted cardi from nanny Peggy and the book I was reading in Hospital before I had you ( entitled Thursdays Child- which bizarrely you were!)
So now after many years of not writing our precious moments down I have decided to write a blog for you. I will do this until my hands are crippled with arthritis or I loose my marbles! We can read this together and look back on all our moments, mad, silly sad happy or otherwise!
Its Jan 1st 2012. We have just shared our first Christmas and New Year in our First home together in Southminster. Been a funny old Christmas with emotions all over the place. We met your youngest cousin Saul and had a great day at Nans with all 6 of you Grand kids having a ball- although getting five of you to sit and have a photo was again impossible!
So what shall we plan for the year ahead? We will be back to Portreath in August to see the Hairy Fairy and we will also go to London with Elaine again- Duck Tour isn't it ? Or is it Frog Tour I cant remember! Dont forget Im going to be noting down how often you walk the Fox! She is currently curled up next to me on the Sofa watching to make sure I do this correctly. I promise you we will have some fun this year together. You are growing up so fast and I sometimes wonder where my little girl has gone. Make up and music has taken over from playing hairdressers and with toy cars!
This year you get to choose your options at school. What ever you decide to do you know I will be so proud of you. I will be on your case though to make sure you put maximum effort into everything! Believe me school is easy compared to working life!
I may not be able to provide all the material things (objects/possessions Georgia! ) in life you want, but I promise to give you all the love and support you will ever need.
You are and always will be the one closest to my heart. No one can ever take the place of my gorgeous daughter Georgia
Till next time
Love ya
Mum xx
